The Association in Brief:
Future Pioneers Association is a Palestinian women non profit organization, founded in 2007 in the governorate of Khan Yunis – the southern Gaza Strip, under license of the Ministry of Interior. It is supervised by a board of directors composed of 7 specialist, expert, efficient and professional administrative members.
Through its programs and developmental projects, the association has managed since its inception to play an active role to enhance the contribution of women in the development of the Palestinian society, thus achieving fruitful results reflected positively on the different groups targeted by these projects.
In unremitting efforts, the association works with all its modest means in partnership with several local and international institutions to develop its capabilities and provide a variety of quality programs and activities to serve women in all stages of age and in all areas: technical, developmental, social, health, entertainment, economic, educational and other.
These efforts and achievements culminated in winning third place in the competition organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sport for the best youth organization in 2010, then second place in 2012, and third place in 2013.
We look forward to assume a leading position that works with high efficiency for the advancement of the cultural role of women in Palestinian society.
Future Pioneers Association seeks to build and develop the capacity of Palestinian women in order to activate their role in achieving social advancement.
The association looks forward to assume a leading position that works with high efficiency to promote the cultural and leading role of girls in the Palestinian society.
We also aspire to build up facilities that belong to the association and serve women in particular. This includes: a major conference room, garden, pool hall, public library, women’s clinic, and sports clubs.
General and Specific Objectives:
Prepare a class of educated youth eligible to play its leading role in the community.
Provide training programs in the field of human development, and enhance the skills of graduates and professional and administrative workers to qualify to the job market.
Disseminate knowledge of computer and its applications, and spread computer literacy among women.
Integrate girls in volunteer work, and raise awareness of its importance in the community.
Detect and develop women’s talents and creativity in various fields, and help them gain knowledge.
Provide Palestinian women with the necessary skills in the field of handicraft and embroidery.
Give girls a variety of knowledge and life skills, and the opportunity to showcase and refine their talents through specialized programs.
Activate the productive role of women in profession, and highlight it to the community.
Promote health and psychological women support.
Provide public and psychological health advisory services.
Activate the role of women in the field of psychological support for life crisis management.
- Raise the level of social, legal, educational and sport awareness among Palestinian women.
- Teach women the concepts and skills needed to improve their social and educational performance.
- Guide women to know their rights and legal obligations, and thus form independent personalities that fit with the positive values in society.
- Emphasize the importance of sport, and facilitate its exercise in a suitable environment.
- Enhance the performance of the organization to improve its community work.
- Develop the staff of the organization to accommodate its growing services.
- Seek to hold more partnerships with local and international institutions.
